Return Terms

Return Timeframe

You have 14 calendar days from the date of service completion or delivery of the final product to request a return or refund. Requests made after this period may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

All return requests must be submitted in writing via email to admin@scentwickart.world or through our contact form. Verbal requests will not be accepted. Please include your order number, project details, and reason for return in your request.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request is made within the 14-day timeframe
  • The service has not been fully utilized or distributed publicly
  • The request is based on a legitimate concern that we failed to meet agreed specifications
  • You have allowed us a reasonable opportunity to address your concerns through revisions
  • The project has not been modified or altered by third parties after delivery

Return Costs

Who Pays for Returns

Return costs depend on the reason for the return:

  • Our Error: If the return is due to our failure to meet agreed specifications or deliver the service as promised, we will cover all return costs and provide a full refund.
  • Change of Mind: If you request a return due to a change of mind or circumstances beyond our control, you may be responsible for any costs associated with work already completed, up to 50% of the total project cost.
  • Partial Completion: If you request a return before project completion, you will be charged for work completed up to that point, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

Processing Fees

A processing fee of up to 5% of the refund amount may apply to cover administrative costs, except in cases where the return is due to our error. This fee will be clearly communicated before processing the refund.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To request a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to admin@scentwickart.world or use our contact form with your return request. Include your order number, project details, and reason for return.
  2. Review Period: We will review your request within 3-5 business days and respond with our decision and any questions we may have.
  3. Discussion: If applicable, we may offer to resolve your concerns through revisions or adjustments before processing a return.
  4. Return Authorization: If your return is approved, we will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for proceeding.
  5. Return Materials: If physical materials were provided, you may be required to return them in their original condition. Digital materials should be deleted or not used further.
  6. Refund Processing: Once we receive and verify the return, we will process your refund within 10-14 business days using the original payment method.

When submitting a return request, please include:

  • Order number or project reference
  • Date of purchase or service completion
  • Detailed reason for return
  • Any relevant documentation or evidence
  • Your preferred resolution (refund, revision, or exchange)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items and services cannot be returned or are subject to special return conditions:

  • Completed and Delivered Projects: Projects that have been completed, delivered, and accepted by the client cannot be returned after the 14-day period, except in cases of our error.
  • Custom Work: Highly customized or personalized video editing work that cannot be resold or reused may not be eligible for return if work has progressed beyond initial stages.
  • Digital Products: Once digital products or deliverables have been downloaded, accessed, or distributed, they may not be eligible for return unless there is a technical defect or our error.
  • Services Already Rendered: Services that have been fully rendered and utilized cannot be returned, though we may offer revisions or adjustments.
  • Third-Party Services: Services provided by third parties through our platform are subject to their respective return policies.
  • Gift Cards or Credits: Gift cards, credits, or promotional vouchers are non-refundable unless required by law.

Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Terms

You may cancel your order or service agreement under the following conditions:

  • Before Work Begins: If you cancel before we begin work on your project, you will receive a full refund minus any processing fees.
  • During Active Work: If you cancel after work has begun but before completion, you will be charged for work completed up to that point, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • After Completion: Cancellation after project completion is subject to our standard return policy and 14-day timeframe.

Our Right to Cancel

  • Request for services that are illegal, unethical, or violate third-party rights
  • Non-payment or payment disputes
  • Inability to fulfill the service due to technical or resource limitations
  • Threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward our team

If we cancel your order, we will provide a full refund for any uncompleted work.

Refund Procedure

Once your return is approved and processed:

  • Processing time may take 10-14 business days depending on your payment method
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 1-2 billing cycles
  • Bank transfers may take 5-10 business days

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit or debit card payments will be refunded to the same card
  • PayPal payments will be refunded to the same PayPal account
  • Bank transfers will be refunded to the originating bank account
  • If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following situations:

  • When work has been partially completed before cancellation
  • When only a portion of the service is returned
  • When there are processing fees or costs deducted
  • When revisions have been made that add value to the project

  • Your return request is received

  • Your refund has been completed

Service Revisions

Revision Policy

Before processing a return, we may offer revisions to address your concerns. Our revision policy includes:

  • Up to 2 rounds of revisions for standard projects
  • Revisions must be requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Revisions must be within the scope of the original project agreement
  • Additional revisions may be available for an additional fee
  • Major changes or scope expansions may require a new project agreement

Revision Process

To request revisions:

  1. Contact us with specific feedback and requested changes
  2. We will review and confirm which revisions are within scope
  3. We will complete the revisions within the agreed timeframe
  4. You will review the revised work and provide feedback
  5. If you are still not satisfied, you may proceed with a return request

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws, including:

  • California Consumer Protection Laws
  • Federal Trade Commission regulations
  • Distance selling regulations where applicable
  • Consumer rights legislation

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy. This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be limited or excluded.
